As an initiative to improve our services and the quality of QP (Qualified Persons) submissions through oneBiz, ABCi has started analysing Building Approval Submissions from QPs from January 2017 and will be updating our Building Approval Statistics monthly.
In addition to this, ABCi & TCP are collaborating to introduce QP standings that will be updated quarterly. This submissions standings represent how much of each QPs applications comply and are up to standards that have been set according to guidelines such as PBD12 as well as Brunei's Building Control Order and Regulations, 2014.
We hope to add on to this information in the future by incorporating more data such as other types of development approval as well as types of development applied.
Please note that the standings solely represent the performance of QP in terms of getting approval of Step 1 & 2 of Dealing with Construction Permits which can be found here. The standings do not take into account the quality of each QPs design, project execution, client relations, etc. QPs that did not submit any Building Approval or Planning Permission applications this quarter will not be listed. A full list of QPs registered under BAPEQS can be found here. ABCi & TCP will not be held accountable for the prospective clients' decision in choosing their own QPs for future development works.
