Minor Offences Act (Cap. 30) Kementerian Hal Ehwal Dalam Negeri

Provides for the punishment of certain minor offences.

JASTRe officers have the power under sec. 12A to arrest without warrant and take before a Magistrate Court any person who commits an offence u/s 12 (prohibition against depositing refuse in public place​).

U/s 32A. JASTRe officers have the authorized power to have all powers of a police officer under Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 7) in relation to an investigation of a seizable offence under MAA.

U/s 38(A)1, the Director General of Public Works and the Director of Environment, Parks and Recreation have the power to compound an offence under section 12 and any offence under the Act prescribed u/s 38A(3) as a compoundable offence.
​Road Traffic Act (Cap. 68) Kementerian Pengangkutan dan Infokomunikasi

Provides for the regulation of traffic on roads and other matters with respect to roads and vehicles; for the coordination and control of means of and facilities for transport; for the co-ordination and control of means of and facilities for construction and adaptation of vehicles; and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
